TRANSMISSION.05 was a traveling residency and exhibition, from the end of May to the first days of June 2005.
With the aim of experimenting artistic ways of interaction with people in everyday-life, a group of artists, a van, and a stall traveled in the North-Eastern area of Italy and stopped in some weekly local markets: the contexts where they developed their projects.
The artists have been asked to search for useful elements to re-draw the lines of human relations through creative activities, following the group’s guidelines and correcting them, when needed, through their path.

A micro-community of artists traveling to explore, re-read and interact with a territory that is rich in contradictions.

This project was the result of the cooperation of a group of artist and curators: Andres Aguirre, Marco Baravalle, Ana Maria Bresciani, Raffaella Crispino, Hen Jam, Anna Paola Passarini, Giuliana Racco, Gaston Ramirez Feltrin, Felix Ruffert, Antonio Scarponi, Sigridur Dora Johannesdottir, Nikola Uzunovski.

The results and documentation of the tour have been presented at Mars Pavillion in Venice from the 10th to the 12th of June 2005, during of the opening of the 51st Venice Art Biennale.
